Internet technology has been a rocket ride for the past 20 years. We are swimming in software, websites, and more recently apps that promise to help us get our financial house in order. The Proverbs give wall to wall wisdom about personal finance, saving, spending, and giving. Our church sums up the process in three simple words: Give, Save, Spend. (in the order!)
MONI is a simple tool that brings the ancient idea of a checkbook register into the 21st century. There is something about writing down your expenses someplace. Whether it is in a spreadsheet, a journal, or a checkbook, its a great habit to be able to know what your bank balance is at a glance. This can easily happen on your bank's app. I agree. However, the MONI app allows you to "pre-spend" your bills at the beginning of the month. There are a handful of great money management apps out there. (yes, i'm thinking of Mint and Manilla) But there is non more simple and elegantly designed than MONI. It has changed the way we give, save, and spend. I hope you will make MONI work for you!
